Plot summary

Harry Price is a British investigator of paranormal claims, and in 1937 he is handed the keys to Borley Rectory in Essex for a six-month stay. The house stands empty, and the land around it carries a long history of apparitions, unexplained noises and hauntings reported over some five hundred years. Price takes up residence there to test those reports and to find the truth behind them.
