Plot summary
Steven Evans, after a lifetime in shallow surroundings, has to work through his insecurities and his fear of change. He and his partner Alex Thomson both want to raise a child, but a legal adoption is not open to them. The two men turn to the black market and take in a child from a young woman who is desperate. The young woman has a dangerous boyfriend, and he threatens the family the couple is trying to build.
