Plot summary
EQ is a drug of the very near future. It sharpens the senses of whoever takes it, and in exchange it does physical damage to the body. A pharmaceutical conglomerate is about to acquire EQ legally, and a cult of revolutionaries that deals the drug and has money in it means to stop that deal with a killing. Archie leads the cult, Blaine is the chemist who works alongside them, and the man they are after is the conglomerate's president. Johanna, a young woman, becomes a pawn in the cult's revolution. Her mother Piper is determined to take her back from the group.
