Plot summary
Ben and Tina are engaged and live in New York, where they record reputedly haunted houses for YouTube. Traveling Europe for material, they come to southwest France seeking a sanatorium that lies under an artificial lake, but the spot turns out to be a crowded vacation area. A local man, Pierre, offers to guide them to a quieter part of the water in the Chanteloup forest, flooded in 1984 to prevent devastating floods, and says a mansion there has stayed perfectly preserved. The couple submerge and find the house with its contents intact. Then voices sound, their drone's motion tracker reports movement where nothing moves, and their electronic equipment starts malfunctioning.
