Plot summary
Police psychiatrist Dr. Andrew Collins tells a detective he can help a young suspect turn away from crime. Escaped murderer Al Walker and his small gang flee toward a secluded cove where Collins, then a college professor, is vacationing with his wife and son. Collins is entertaining guests when Walker arrives with his girlfriend Betty and two gunmen. They take the household hostage and wait for a boat.
