Plot summary
A mocking online video introduces the Canadian filmmakers Aaron and Jim to Terrance, a conspiracy theorist, and they decide to make a film about him. Terrance shares his collection of newspaper clippings, which link historical events. Aaron comes to sympathize with him, while Jim stays doubtful. In an interview Terrance grows agitated and points to a man he believes is tailing him, and soon afterward he vanishes. Aaron and Jim find his apartment being emptied, and Aaron salvages the clippings. The material connects several historical events to the Tarsus Club, an organization built on an ancient secret society whose members supposedly meet just before major events. Its existence rests on one article by Mark Tucker, and when the pair ask the public for information, a man claiming to be Tucker gets in touch.
