Plot summary
The crew of a commercial research vessel works the ship's submersible under the orders of a special ops unit, which has commandeered both for a recovery dive in the Yellow Sea. The item they are sent to bring up is a drone that crashed there and lies somewhere on the seabed. Those aboard include Mats, Edwards, Parks, Denholm, Andy and the captain. The operation goes wrong when an explosion rocks the vessel: the submersible overturns and takes on water with people inside it, leaving them stranded at the bottom of the sea. With the submersible flooding and the surface far above, the crew is left to fight for a way to survive.
