Plot summary
Danielle Velayo, a psychology student, moves into a Victorian house and encounters what seem to be manifestations of a spirit. She calls her sister Anna, who believes she is suffering a relapse of a psychiatric condition. Danielle follows a fog in the hallway to a concealed room hidden inside the wall of the spare room. Looking into the house's history, she learns of Mordechai Zymytryk, who mesmerized a convicted child killer, Edgar A. Crowe, to punish him for the torture and death of Zymytryk's grandson. Crowe is the spirit Danielle has woken, and she starts to show signs of possession. Anna searches for a way to stop Crowe that does not mean killing her sister.
