Plot summary
Melvin Smiley is well paid for his work as a contract killer, and away from the job he gives in to the people around him. His fiancée Pam has no idea what he does for a living, and Chantel, who does not accept the work, keeps making costly requests. Convinced their boss Paris underpays them, Melvin's teammates Cisco, Crunch, Vince and Gump take a private job: they seize Keiko Nishi, the teenage daughter of the electronics magnate Jiro Nishi, and hold her for a ransom. Melvin draws the task of keeping the girl at his own house, where Pam and her parents are expected for dinner. The team does not know that Nishi has lately lost his money, or that Paris is Keiko's godfather.
