Plot summary
Tembele collects garbage in Kampala, working twelve-hour shifts in the chaotic city. He and his wife Mawe are waiting for their first child. The baby dies soon after the birth, and Tembele suffers a mental breakdown, denying that his son has died. He is back at the truck the next day cheerful, while the people around him are mourning. Uganda chose it as the country's first-ever submission to the Academy Awards' international feature category, and it won Best Film at the Uganda Film Festival Awards.
