Plot summary
A young couple, Danny and Zoe, put their money into the Fright Zone, a defunct haunted attraction they mean to run as a business. Realtor Jan and groundskeeper Ron tell them the site has a bloody past. The pair then holds auditions and takes on a company of haunt performers to restore the place. Eric, Ron's brother, unsettles the new crew with a family tragedy, the tale of how the bear-masked killer called Teddy came to be, and an account of the first murder committed inside the haunt. The couple's purchase of the place revives a local legend along with it.
