Plot summary
After a storm sinks the boat she was traveling on, Jenn washes up on a small tropical island. No one else is there, only the belongings and the graves of a family that once lived on the island, and no boat to carry her away. She must survive the elements, and a plane passes without spotting her flare. While swimming out to retrieve her luggage, she spots a hole in the ocean floor. Something large emerges from the water after dark and stalks the island, and Jenn keeps out of its reach through the nights that follow.
