Plot summary

Maggie Murphy is a successful entrepreneur who returns to her hometown for the reading of her aunt Dee's will. She learns that she has inherited half of the maple candy business her aunt was known for. The other half of that business goes to Dex Walters, the maple supplier who worked with Dee. Maggie cannot understand why her aunt chose to divide the business in this way. Her return also coincides with the town's Sweet Autumn Fest. Aunt Dee left behind a series of letters, and Maggie and Dex search through those letters for the reason behind her aunt's final wishes.
