Plot summary
Paul Holland is wealthy, and his ex-wife Susan wants him dead so that she can collect on his life insurance policy. Her lover, Sam Meyers, brings in two inept criminals, Bill and Steve, to shoot Paul in a parking lot so the attack looks like a mugging. Paul survives and is taken to a hospital. Susan refuses to give up and brings in a biker named Bob to finish the job while Paul recovers. Bob enlists a former prostitute, Betty Johnson, to get close to Dr. Chris Stillman, who is treating Paul, so that Paul will be moved to a private room.
