Summer's Blood (2009) on Netflix

Plot summary

Summer Matthews does not get along with her mother, and after learning that her father is alive, she leaves home. She hitchhikes toward Massey with an old photograph of him, hoping someone there will know the man. At a gas station she shoplifts food and the local sheriff gives chase. Tom Hoxey, who saw the commotion, hides her in his truck and drives off with her. They drink at a bar, and he talks her out of a motel and into the house where he lives with his mother, Gaia. When Summer tries to leave the next morning, Tom refuses to let her go.
