Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) on Netflix

Plot summary

Yuta was a prosperous gold town before the white Genji and the red Heike fought over the mines and the population left. The gunman who rides in turns down invitations from both sides, choosing his own road instead. Ruriko, who brings him into her home, looks after Heihachi, a grandson left mute, and describes how the feud emptied the place. The sheriff, who answers to the Heike, fills in the rest: Akira of the Heike and Shizuka of the Genji set up a household together with their boy, and Kiyomori, leader of the Heike, shot Akira down. The boy stopped speaking after that. Shizuka took work as a prostitute for the Genji to keep him safe. Heihachi looks after three roses, red and white, and waits for them to open.
