Plot summary
The same week has taken both his job and his girlfriend, and Tom, a middle-class accountant, goes in search of a gun. His search takes him to East London, to a derelict squat, and to D, a homeless crack addict who has one to sell. D asks for more than the price the two of them agreed on, because he owes Hoodwink, a local drug dealer, a large sum of money, and he needs the extra to clear his debt. The gun is not D's to sell. It belongs to Hoodwink, and he will do anything to get his own weapon back.
