Plot summary
Artimus Pyle is the drummer for the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. In October 1977, while on tour, the band rents a plane. On the late evening of October 20, the aircraft goes down in the swamps near Gillsburg, Mississippi. The film tracks the hours leading up to the flight, the day of the crash, and the period immediately after the crash.
