Strawberry Mansion (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

In 2035, the government taxes dreams and keeps the public under surveillance. James Preble works as a dream auditor. He travels to a remote farmhouse to review the dreams of Arabella Isadora, an elderly artist who lives there with her tortoise, Sugar Baby, and calls the place Strawberry Mansion. Her dreams fill a vast library of VHS tapes, and Preble watches them to complete his audit, staying in her guest room at her insistence. In his own dreams he visits a pink room where Buddy offers him commercial products, and a younger version of Bella appears there. As the audit goes on, Preble and Bella grow closer in the waking world.
