Plot summary
Tom Ryan is the son of a housekeeper in the Hamptons and a devoted David Bowie fan. A family secret long kept from him sends him to Las Vegas, where he takes work as a handyman and begins a brief romance with Jennifer, his boss's daughter. He loses both the job and the relationship on the same day. Out on the town he meets Jordan, a stranger whose offer of maintenance work draws him into a fast-moving Vegas circle of young people. Tom grows close to the group around Jordan and to Sarah, who lives across the street. The painful past he left in New York keeps surfacing, and his efforts to forget it strain the new bonds he is forming.

- Station to Station was shot on a microbudget of less than $25,000, and writer-director Benjamin Bryant said he was proud the production was fully insured and that all cast and crew on set were paid at the time of the shoot.
- Made during the coronavirus pandemic, the film had its cast living and working in a bubble in Las Vegas, eating together onsite and unable to sightsee on days off; producer Tommy Zamberlan and Bryant scheduled the 11-day principal shoot to limit time on set.
- Plans to shoot at real Las Vegas bars and restaurants fell through or were changed because of local coronavirus mandates and closures. A key nightclub scene between Tom and Jordan was shot on a set after the planned location canceled two days prior, and scenes scripted to move through a hotel were confined to one suite.
- Bryant and producer Tommy Zamberlan already jointly owned professional film and sound equipment, which allowed the production to avoid camera, sound, and lighting equipment rental fees.
- On February 28, 2022, the film's producers announced it would no longer be available on VOD platforms in Russia or Belarus, in response to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
