Plot summary
Dr. Baylor, a tutor at New York State University, plans an experiment with plutonium. Peter Parker and other students say it is too dangerous. Three students take plutonium from the laboratory to make an atomic bomb. Spider-Man tries to intervene and is seen by guards. The police then blame Spider-Man for the theft, and Inspector DeCarlo accuses Peter Parker. Meanwhile, Gale Hoffman, a journalist, seeks an interview with Spider-Man after he rescues a woman. In Switzerland, millionaire Mr. White learns of the theft and travels to the United States with his henchman Angel to obtain the plutonium.
