Plot summary
Lance works as a hotel custodian and is a struggling actor who has appeared in films only as an extra. Lisa, who works at the hotel too, is obsessed with Lance and rents from Eddy's video store every film in which he has appeared. A hotel supervisor arranges for Lance to moonlight as a gigolo for guests. A script is left behind in a hotel room, and he pushes his acting résumé under the door. The guest is Clara, a screenwriter developing a television movie about her deceased brother, and she recommends him for the lead.
