Plot summary
Alexis was ten when she watched her family murdered, and the experience brought her hearing back and awakened her synesthesia. As an adult she pursues a career by experimenting with new sounds, finding solace in the noises that bodily harm produces. Her loving roommate Marie helps her, unaware of the dark purpose behind her actions and of the part she is unknowingly playing.
