Plot summary
Alessandro 'Alex' Belli is thirty-seven, an advertising executive, and his fiancée Elena has recently left him. At work he is trying to come up with a campaign for a new Japanese product and getting nowhere. Niki Cavalli is seventeen, in her final year of high school, and spends her free time with Olly, Diletta and Erica, the friends she tells everything. Her ex-boyfriend Fabio keeps trying to win her back, and she is not interested. One morning while commuting, Alex and Niki collide in the street. He drives her to school and gives her his contact information in case her moped needs repairs, and that number becomes the way the two of them keep meeting. A romance begins between them despite the twenty-year gap in their ages.
