Plot summary
While fleeing a cult, Laura goes into labor and gives birth to her son David by the side of the road. Eight years later, she lives a normal life with him. One night she sees a group of strangers standing around David's bed before the door slams shut and locks. When she returns, the strangers are gone and David looks sick. Police officer Paul is sympathetic, but his partner Steve is dismissive and believes she is delusional. Paul gives Laura his card. David vomits blood and is taken to the hospital, where doctors cannot find a cause. Laura dreams of her time in the cult and wakes to find David recovered. Fearing the cult has found them, she plans to sell the house and flee.
