Plot summary
Alex is running from himself and from a childhood trauma he has almost forgotten. His guiding rule is that he must not become like his father, and it drives him past the continent's borders and toward the edge of reason. At a gas station a mysterious woman gets into his car and becomes a companion who does not judge him. Together they cross Europe on a road trip of drugs and ecstasy, loose contacts and unfamiliar places, time spent intoxicated far from anywhere.
