Plot summary
A writer is getting married soon. Before the wedding he crosses the country to call on the women he dated in the past, wanting to make amends for how he treated them. His first stop is Seattle, where he sees Sam, his high school girlfriend. Sam is married and has children now, and she is still hurt by how he ended things between them without explanation.
