Plot summary
Al Klein and his partner Ash Martini run a used car lot, and the two of them know every trick that selling a car involves. Barbara, Al's ex-wife, left him some years ago for a man who had done better for himself, and Al has never quite moved past it. Freddy is the son of Al and Barbara, and with high school now behind him he decides against college in favor of the lot. He takes a place beside his father, selling cars the way his old man does. Ash has been a friend of Al's for a long stretch of years.
