1. Behind the camera

   Pollono's first full-length play, Lost and Found, was produced in 2006 at the Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles, after he helped found the Jabberwocky Theatre Company in 2004 so he could stage his own writing.

   Pollono wrote the screenplay for the 2017 film Stronger, based on Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman's memoir; the script placed second on the 2016 Black List.

3. First role

   Pollono's first notable screen acting role came in 2013 as Pat Dolan on the TNT series Mob City, a character who appears in all six episodes.

   A first

   In early 2019, Pollono took up his part again for the movie version of Small Engine Repair, which marked his first time directing. That film came out in September 2021.

5. Behind the camera

   Pollono wrote a one-act play called Illuminati, which took Best Play at the 2010 Network One-Act Festival in New York City. His first version of Rules of Seconds was picked for the 2011 Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Alaska.
