Plot summary
The film traces the place of nudity in feature movies from the early silent days through to the present. It examines the shifts in morality that brought nudity to the screen, along with the political, social and artistic forces that shaped it. A further subject is the gender inequality in how nude images have been presented, and the more recent push toward equality between men and women in nude roles. Performers talk about their own nude appearances, among them roles in Caligula, Vixen!, No Way Out, American Pie, Not Another Teen Movie, Showgirls, Striptease, Personal Best and Star 80, and directors discuss what it was like to make films that contained nudity.
