Plot summary
Four friends from Seattle spend a weekend in the Skagit Valley, a rain-soaked corner of rural Washington State. The October landscape warps the minds of all four of them, and each is plunged into an alternate reality of their own. There they grapple with personal demons, with the sexual tensions among them, and with a sinister natural world. All four work to find a way back to sanity.
