Plot summary
Moe, Larry and Shemp operate the Pip Boys tailor shop, and the Skin and Flint Finance Corporation is about to repossess it over unpaid notes. They learn of a substantial reward for the capture of Terry Hargan, a notorious bank robber known as Slippery Fingered, and Shemp says catching him would solve their money problem. Hargan takes refuge in the shop and leaves a suit behind, and a safe combination is inside it.

- An audio goof survives in the finished short: during a scene where Moe makes pancakes on the pants press, director Jules White can be heard shouting "Cut!" as the camera fades into the next scene.
- The Three Stooges short was remade in 1953 as Rip, Sew and Stitch, with the later film reusing ample recycled footage from the 1947 original.
- The short is one of four Columbia Stooges films that fell into the public domain when their copyright expired in 1964, along with Malice in the Palace, Brideless Groom and Disorder in the Court. As a result, all four frequently turn up on budget VHS and DVD compilations.
