Plot summary
Shane McInerney is the associate of Oliver O'Toole, a lead postal detective. The two have kept up a figurative dance, swaying back and forth around the possibility of a relationship between them. Their first date takes place at a romantic supper club, and there Shane starts to ask herself whether it counts as a date at all. She places what she and Oliver share beside a couple's extraordinary dance performances, which put before her the longing she carries in her heart. Norman Dorman and Rita Haywith work alongside each other, and their personal bond hits a bump in the road.
