Plot summary
Harper Moore assists Kirsten Stevens, the editor of an online sports journalism operation, and Charlie Young works for Rick Otis, a demanding venture capitalist, in the same building. One night both bosses want dinner. Harper has ordered Kirsten's food but carries no cash, and Charlie, who failed to order for Rick, pays for it and hands her one of the containers. She repays him the following day, and the two compare jobs that leave them no time for a private life. Harper suggests that if their bosses dated each other, the pair would be less free to pile on work. Charlie agrees after his girlfriend Suze nearly ends things over his schedule, and the assistants begin engineering ways for Kirsten and Rick to meet.
