Plot summary
Case and the other Navy SEALs of Team Eight are in Africa on an operation nobody authorized. The intelligence they pull together points to a sale, about to happen, of a very large amount of weapons-grade uranium. The mine that produces the material sits hidden in the Congo, and the army of a ruthless warlord guards it. The SEALs have no preparation for a mission of this kind, no support from anyone, and less than thirty-six hours to reach the site. They are to seize the yellowcake before it can be smuggled out of the country and to identify the buyer, a figure unknown to them.
