Plot summary
With his uncle Colonel Beauregard dead, Shaggy stands to inherit a Southern plantation, Beauregard Manor, and he sets out with Scooby and Scrappy to collect it. Sheriff Rufus Buzby warns them that the estate is haunted, and the drive through the family cemetery brings a ghost wolf, a Headless Horseman and a figure claiming to be the Colonel, who tells them to leave. At the manor, the Colonel's manservant Farquard says the jewels hidden there are his by right. The truck sinks into quicksand, forcing them to spend the night, and Scrappy calls the Boo Brothers, a ghost-hunting crew. Shaggy also meets Sadie Mae Scroggins, who falls for him, and her brother Billy Bob, who wants to shoot him over an old family feud.
