Savva. Heart of the Warrior (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Savva's mother tells him a bedtime story about the white wolves that once guarded their village and vanished long ago, and about the warrior fable says will come to save it. When hyenas seize the villagers to sell as slaves to Mom-Jozee, the monkey queen with three heads, Savva alone gets away, helped by Anggee, a white wolf who appears in time. Anggee is on his way to a magician and tells Savva that a warrior there can free the village, though the road runs through the monkeys' land. Two more travelers join them: Puffy, a tiny pink creature who wants the magician to make him a prince again, and Fafl, who says a witch cursed him with ugliness and who shares his shoulder with the Mosquito King. Mom-Jozee sets spies on their trail.
