Plot summary
Black Swans, the private military company of the American Lewis family, is hired by SAS commander George Clements to clear a village in Georgia for a gas pipeline. The villagers resist, and the company kills them. Someone films the killings, and the International Criminal Court asks Britain to send the accused, residents of North London, to The Hague to stand trial. Tom Buckingham, an SAS operator, is on a train from London to Paris with his girlfriend, Dr. Sophie Hart, intending to propose. Sophie doubts that the two of them understand each other, and Tom questions his own feelings. Before the train reaches the English Channel, Grace Lewis and the remaining Black Swans take the passengers hostage at gunpoint and threaten the gas pipe network in the tunnel.
