Plot summary
Elizabeth writes to Santa that the people of Lakeville have been leaving because the scientist Ebner Frost plans to buy the orphanage. Frost's henchmen pressure Mr. Rini into selling his shoe store. Blake Thorn is a millionaire who sells bodybuilding supplements and equipment bearing his picture; after he and his paintball squad are caught speeding, he hides in a shopping mall, puts on a Santa costume, and falls down a garbage chute. He comes to without his memory, and Lenny, a mall elf, convinces him that he is Santa. When two people steal money set aside for the orphanage, he stops them, then visits the orphanage and meets Leslie and the three children still there, Taylor, Sarah, and Elizabeth.
