Plot summary
After learning from Trish that Jimmy, the mugger who attacked her, is out of prison, Kayla arranges a weekend away with her friends. They choose Mabon, a remote village, and let Trish, Kayla's ex, come along. On the road they pick up a hitchhiker who says the village marks the Summer Solstice with a party and a ritual. At the gathering, the locals explain that the rite honors the goddess Mabon and that each person offers up a fear. The friends take part so they can join the celebration afterward. Blake names dogs, Stacey aging, Trish bugs, and Kayla names Jimmy, the man who hurt her.
