Ty Hardin

Ty Hardin was an American actor who started in minor Paramount films under the name Ty Hungerford, including I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958) and Last Train from Gun Hill (1959). After moving to Warner Bros., he got his break when Clint Walker left the ABC series Cheyenne and Hardin stepped in as Bronco Layne. That role led to his own series, Bronco, which ran from 1958 to 1962 and alternated with Cheyenne and Sugarfoot. He also appeared in Warner films such as Merrill's Marauders (1962), The Chapman Report (1962), and PT 109 (1963). Hardin later worked in Europe on spaghetti Westerns and war films, including Battle of the Bulge (1965), Berserk! (1967), and Custer of the West (1967), and starred in the Australian television series Riptide from 1968 to 1969. His later credits included Image of the Beast (1981) and Rescue Me (1993).
