Plot summary
Zara, 24, is tired of being unappreciated as the assistant to Chris Cole, a self-absorbed Hollywood actor who dismisses her script advice and expects her to handle his breakups. After Chris changes the gate code while she is speaking with a writer, Zara quits. Chris later visits her home to propose an assistant producer job, but Zara is out. He meets her widowed mother Brooke, a best-selling author, and they get along. Zara comes back and finds her mother and Chris together. Chris assures her it will not happen again, so Zara returns to work for him as an associate producer.
