Big break
In 1981, Catherine O'Hara was picked to join the cast, but she chose to go back to SCTV, so Duke was brought in instead.
A change of course
Duke now teaches Improv and Voice and Acting in the Comedy Writing and Performance program at Humber College, and she has been quoted as saying that class C is her favorite.
Behind the camera
In 2004, Duke helped create Women Fully Clothed, a sketch comedy troupe, with Kathryn Greenwood, Debra McGrath, Jayne Eastwood and Teresa Pavlinek. The group performed across the United States and Canada and in Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival.
