Reb Brown

Reb Brown is an American actor who came to screen work in the early 1970s after growing up in the Los Angeles area. He spent most of that decade in minor or supporting parts, including Sssssss (1973), Big Wednesday (1978) and Fast Break (1979), before playing Captain America in two made-for-television films, among them Captain America II: Death Too Soon (1979). Supporting work in bigger Hollywood pictures followed, most notably Ted Kotcheff's Uncommon Valor (1983), while he took lead roles in genre features such as Yor, the Hunter from the Future (1983), Space Mutiny (1988), Robowar (1988) and Flight of the Intruder (1991). His most significant part of the period was Private Edward Leonski in the Australian film Death of a Soldier (1986); his performance was acclaimed and earned a nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Dramatic Role from the Australian Film Institute. After a long break from the screen, he acted again in 2012.
