Big break
Howard Hawks gave Prentiss the female lead in Man's Favorite Sport? (1964), opposite Rock Hudson at Universal, her first movie outside MGM. Hawks said she was good but forgot from one shot to the next what she was doing, so her shots never matched.
A first
Prentiss returned to feature films in 2016 after more than 30 years away, except for brief cameos, in the horror film I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, directed by Oz Perkins.
