Justine Clarke
Biography
Justine Clarke is an Australian actress, singer, author and children's television host who was born in Sydney and started acting at age seven. Her first major screen role came in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985), and she is best known for playing Roo Stewart on Home and Away from 1988 to 1989. She later played Ally Kovac on Tangle from 2009 to 2012 and has presented the children's program Play School since 1999. Her films include Danny Deckchair (2003) and Look Both Ways; for the latter she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute Lead Actress award in 2005 and won Best Actress at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival in 2006. Clarke has released children's albums, won two ARIA Awards, and is an experienced stage actor whose credits include Girls & Boys and Julia.
