Plot summary
Spring reaches Poppy Meadow, but Maya cannot rouse the hive, and the others have gone back to sleep. A trip to the glow worms leaves the hive and the sunstone in pieces, which the Queen does not take well. Maya learns that the Queen means to split her from Willy over the damage their partnership causes, and she sets out to prove the two of them should stay together. The chance comes when a green ant chased by the boom-bugs hands the pair a golden orb. Arnie and Barney come along as they head for Bonsai Peak, where the ants await the egg of their princess. That egg is Smoosh, and the beetles want the orb back.
