Plot summary
Maya is a young bee in a hive full of rules she does not care for, and one of those rules warns every bee against the hornets who live beyond the meadow. The Queen rules the hive, with Buzzlina Von Beena as her royal counselor, and Miss Cassandra teaches at the bee school. When the Royal Jelly is stolen, the hive blames the hornets, and Maya is named as an accomplice. Her best friend Willy is the only one who believes her. The two of them set out for the hornets' hive to find out what became of the Royal Jelly.
