Judson Pratt
Biography
Judson Pratt was an American actor who worked in film, television, and theater. Born in Hingham, Massachusetts, he began his stage career on Broadway in 1941 with the play Popsy, then moved to screen work in 1950 on the anthology series Armstrong Circle Theatre. His best-known role was Sergeant Major Kirby in The Horse Soldiers (1959). His films included I Confess (1953), Cheyenne Autumn (1964), A Distant Trumpet (1964), The Ugly American (1963), and Vigilante Force (1976). On television, he played Billy Kinkaid in Union Pacific, a syndicated western, in 1958, and later guest-starred in shows such as Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Perry Mason, Mission: Impossible, and Charlie's Angels. He retired from acting in 1980 after appearing on Days of Our Lives.
