Himesh Patel
Biography
Himesh Patel is a British actor who played Tamwar Masood on the BBC soap opera EastEnders, from 2007 until he left the show in 2016. He followed that with the Channel 4 sitcom Damned and the HBO miniseries Station Eleven (2021), which brought him a Primetime Emmy nomination for his lead performance in a limited series. His film debut came as Jack Malik in Danny Boyle's Yesterday (2019), and he went on to star in the comedies Don't Look Up (2021) and Greedy People (2024). He played a fixer in Christopher Nolan's Tenet (2020) and Eurylochus in Nolan's The Odyssey (2026), and took the part of Dr. John Watson in Enola Holmes 2 (2022), returning to it for Enola Holmes 3. On stage he appeared in Don Juan in Soho, and he has voiced Doctor Who audio stories. His work in Don't Look Up earned a Screen Actors Guild cast nomination.
